Finding the right home for you
Each of our new build developments offer something different, varying due to location, house type or specification.
Whether the development consists of 10 homes or 100, all homes are designed and built to an uncompromisingly high standard which we would be proud to call our own.
To see where we are building and what types of home, we have available, please see our ‘current developments’ page, from there you can register your interest or complete our ‘general enquiries’ form and our appointed sales representatives will support and guide your journey into the new build home of your dreams.
What happens next?
Once you have decided on a plot, if you haven’t already, we always recommend you speak to your solicitor to receive clear impartial advice. Your chosen solicitor will act with your best interests in mind, ensuring everything goes smoothly.
Brampton Valley Homes will happily accept Early Bird reservations, holding your desired plot for a set period of time until you are proceedable.
When you are proceedable and have a completed full reservation on your chosen plot, both buyer and developer will instruct their respective solicitors to progress the sale. Please refer the chart below for more details:
Customisation and Extras
Depending on build stage, once you have completed a full reservation for your chosen home, you may be able to choose your worktop, kitchen units, tiles and carpet from a bespoke collection handpicked by our sales team.
We are always willing to discuss any upgrade or extras requests but we must also ensure your home remains compliant with building regulations and NHBC standards.
Please see our specification to see what will be included AS STANDARD in your home, saving you at least £10,000 on appliances and so much more!
Handover
On your agreed completion date, our solicitors will confirm once keys can be released, and a representative will meet you at your new home to go through our handover procedure which includes;
- A full handover inspection by the customer
- Completing our customer acceptance certificate, including meter readings
- Explanation of the homeowner box
- Scheduling the settling in visit
- Gifting of a luxury hamper and paint pack
- A photo of you in front of your new home (optional)
Our Customer Care Manager will visit you approximately 7 days after completion for a settling in visit, which involves walking through the property at your pace, and viewing any issues you may have identified that require our attention. Any further issues can be raised throughout your 2 year warranty period.
Warranty
As an ethical, quality builder, we always complete inspections throughout every stage of construction, however the unexpected can happen so from your completion day, we provide a 2 year builders warranty for fixtures and fittings arising from defective workmanship or materials.
For added peace of mind, each Brampton Valley Home also includes NHBC Buildmark warranty and insurance. This cover starts at the point of exchange and provides you with a maximum of 10 years of protection post completion for structural defects.
