For our new site in Waltham on the Wolds, we wanted our customers to have the benefit of lower carbon emissions, reduced heating costs and more efficient homes now, rather than waiting for 2025 when new technology like this will be mandatory on all new homes. As I’m sure many of you know, the government announced within the last 12 months that all new build homes will be banned from using gas boilers from 2025 onwards, citing environmental reasons and to also help make energy more affordable for the end user.

The dream really did become reality for the happy couple who had always wanted a new build bungalow close to Melton, and now they can say they own one and a Brampton Valley home at that!

Supporting the community

As a new build developer in rural locations, we like to get involved with the local communities and support them where we can. Waltham on the Wolds Village Hall is a charity and voluntary organisation providing classes, groups and venue hire to the community. Earlier this year, they informed us of their plans to resurface the car park but unfortunately, they did not have the funds required to undertake the work.

Another completion here at Forest Heath. The Lovely Caroline and Lewis moved into their beautiful new property this week; The Asprey on our Forest Heath development in Waltham on the Wolds.

Having reserved earlier in the year they had the opportunity to add their own touch and choose the internals for their new home and just look at the fabulous choices they made!

We welcome John and Jennie to Forest Heath. The happy couple moved into their new home last week, along with the cute Murphy who we had the pleasure of watching for the afternoon.

John and Jennie purchased this lovely 3 bedroom property off plan, and as part of the Brampton Valley Homes process, were able to personalize their home. Just look at the wonderful choices they made, doesn’t it look great.

Last Saturday we had a fabulous outing at Waltham on the Wolds Summer Village Fayre. With a variety of stalls and a dog show there was something for all to enjoy! We really loved getting involved, and a big well done to all of those who helped with the organisation, you did the village proud!
